The department is pleased to announce that several members of our department are the recipients of the Outstanding Teaching Awards for the Fall 2012 semester. Professor Michael Celia received his award for CEE 581, Theory of Groundwater Flow , and Gordana Herning for CEE567, Advanced Design and Behavior of Steel Structures.

Dan Li, CEE graduate student, has received the Outstanding Student Paper Award at the 2012 American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting held in December 2012 in San Francisco, CA.  His paper was titled "Hydro-meteorological and microclimatic impacts of urbanization".
