The Department is proud to announce that Graduate Students Mattew Sima and Mauricio Pereira have received the School of Engineering and Applied Science Award for Excellence for 2023.  This award is given to SEAS graduate students who have performed at the highest level as scholars and researchers.  The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department faculty selected them on the basis of their excellence in courses, research, and teaching during their time at Princeton.

Matthew is advised by Professor Peter Jaffe, while Mauricio is advised by Professor Branko Glisic in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.  Both students will be receiving a one-time supplement to go along with their regular academic support.
