Graduate Student Arianna Sherman Selected to Receive a New Jersey Water Environment Association Award

The department is pleased to announce that Graduate Student Arianna Sherman has been selected by the New Jersey Water Environment Association as a co-recipient of the John J. LaGrosa Award 2019.  The NJWEA Scholarship Committee was very impressed with her academic and professional qualifications and activities.

The New Jersey Water Environment Association is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the water environment.  Founded in 1915 the Association is the oldest organization of its kind in the United States. With a membership of 2800 engineers, operators, scientists, students and other professionals, the NJWEA is an environmental leader in New Jersey.

Arianna will be honored at the Association's Annual Conference on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Bally's in Atlantic City, where President Robert J. De Block will confer the award and present Arianna with a certificate and check.

Her advisor is Professor Peter R. Jaffe.
