Matthew Sima, a 5th year Ph.D. candidate has been selected as a 2024 recipient of the prestigious John J. Lagrosa Award by the New Jersey Water Environment Research (NJWEA). The award includes a check for $3,000 and recognition at the NJWEA 107th John J. Lagrosa Annual Conference. Matthew was selected based on his outstanding academic performance, merit, scholastic ability, and interest in environmental research dealing with water pollution focusing on PFAS from both a technical and policy perspective.
