Professor Michael Celia,director of the Princeton Environmental Institute (PEI) and Princeton's Theodora Shelton Pitney Professor of Environmental Studies and professor of civil and environmental engineering, has received an honorary doctorate in engineering from the University of Stuttgart in Germany for recognition of his work as a prolific researcher and an influential educator.
