Guy Nordenson from ARC and our own Jim Smith, along with Stan Allen (Dean of ARC), CEE alum Michael Tantala, and several others, put together a proposal that has won the 2007 Latrobe Prize. This is a biannual $100,000 research fellowship given by the College of Fellows of the AIA.

Five engineering faculty members including Professor George Scherer were among ten Princeton University scientists who teamed up with local sculptors, architects and landscape architects to create the phenomenon known as Quark Park.
